I’m just your average, everyday girl trying to make it in a world that isn’t always so kind. I’m a little bit of everything, a whole lot of opinions, and a self proclaimed HOT MESS, but somehow, it works for me! Around here, we believe in progress over perfection, doing things our own way, and making life beautiful without spending a fortune.

Beauty? Fashion? Lifestyle? DIY? Budget finds? I’m your girl!

I’ve practically DIY’d my way through life, and I’ve learned that you don’t have to spend a fortune to have nice things or enjoy beautiful experiences.

Do I love keeping up with trends? Absolutely! Do I need the latest Louis Vuitton bag or Apple iPhone to feel like I’m keeping up? Absolutely not.

I love finding ways to get the look, the experience, or the result for a fraction of the price. Sometimes, in my experience, the less expensive option is actually the better one!

That’s what minimal effort, maximum results means to me: working smarter, using the resources available to us, and making the most of what we already have. Because your life doesn’t need to look like somebody else’s to be beautiful.

One of my greatest priorities is being present for my daughter. I’ve been fortunate enough to find ways to work from home so I can homeschool her and spend more time doing what matters most to me: raising her, making memories, and giving her experiences and life lessons I wish I’d had growing up.

It requires sacrifices, but they’re sacrifices I’m willing to make. And if there’s one thing I want to teach her, it’s this: Knowledge is power.

I believe in asking questions, doing the research, and understanding both the positive and negative sides of a situation before making an informed decision.

I always tell my daughter: “Get ready, because Mama’s about to add a few tools to your life tool belt!”

Because that’s exactly what knowledge is. Another tool we can carry with us. The more we learn, the better equipped we are to navigate this beautiful, complicated life. And I’m still learning right alongside her.

I’m a mom, daughter, teacher, DIYer, organizer, decorator, cleaner, cook, plant lover, reader, couponer, planner, astrology enthusiast, holistic living lover, and an absolute CAT FREAK.

I’m curious about almost everything, which means you’ll find a little bit of everything here, too. Some days we’re talking beauty and fashion. Other days it’s budget finds, organizing, home projects, motherhood, or something completely unexpected. You’ll have to stay tuned to find out what I have up my sleeves. Witches cackle. 🧙‍♀️

I don’t believe I have to fit neatly into one box. And neither do you.

I’m transparent, caring, loving, occasionally chaotic, and definitely not everyone’s cup of tea. And I’m perfectly okay with that.

Here’s something I wish more people understood:

You can be the sweetest, ripest, juiciest apple on the tree, and there’s still going to be somebody who doesn’t like apples. You can’t spend your life changing who you are to make everybody else happy. The very things that make some people love you might be the same things that make others dislike you. So be yourself. Find what works for you. Make informed decisions. Learn as much as you can. Enjoy the little things.

Define your life, YOUR WAY.

We’re not here for a long time. We’re here to make the most of the time we have. And my goal? To LIVE for a living, not just survive.
